With an overwhelming number of Marketing Platforms available to you, it is hard to understand where and how to focus your time and energy when marketing your Photography Business. How often should you post? Where are your customers most likely to engage with you? We’ll teach you the basics of building your online presence and navigating the digital marketing world in this 6 hour session, with Professional Family Photographer, Kelsie Kelly of Kelsie Kelly Photographer.

Your Brand & Marketing

Your brand is what makes you unique and what sets you apart from your competitors. Understanding what you do and who your ideal customers are will help you build a strong brand and an effective marketing strategy that will help position you in a saturated photography market and reach customers.

Building Your Online Presence

  • Social Media: Instagram. Facebook. Twitter. We’ll talk about how to use these platforms so that you get the best possible return on your most valuable asset: your time.
  • Website/Blog: How to increase your Google ranking, your website and the importance of blogging.
  • Email Marketing: How to engage with your current clients to keep them coming back to you again and again.

Bonus Section:

We’ll set aside some time at the end of this session to touch on pricing and Kelsie will do her best to accommodate any questions you have about Marketing and building your Photography business in general. Kelsie will also share her favorite photography vendors, software and apps.

About Kelsie Kelly Photographer

Kelsie is a professional newborn and family photographer in the Edmonton area and a mother of three. She has been an avid photographer for the past 15 years after studying film photography as a journalism student at SAIT. In 2015 she started Kelsie Kelly Photographer after years of photographing her own daughters and gaining a real passion for photography once learning how to shoot manual on her DSLR. Kelsie also has a background in marketing and communications and loves to share her business and photography expertise with fellow photographers.
